Enrique Aguirre: COO of Unbroken Horizons

Enrique Aguirre, a 27-year-old Virginia resident, is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Unbroken Horizons, where he leads efforts in website marketing, outreach, volunteer coordination, and overall operations. With a passion for creating safe spaces and empowering survivors, Enrique plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's mission is fulfilled with compassion and integrity.

Pursuing Excellence in Cybersecurity and Law:

Enrique is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity with a minor in Counterterrorism and Cyber Law, as well as a Pre-Law concentration. His ultimate goal is to attend law school, specializing in cyber crimes and forensic investigations within cybersecurity, merging his technical expertise with a deep commitment to justice.

Enrique’s work at Unbroken Horizons reflects a profound dedication to supporting survivors of sexual abuse. He is committed to creating a refuge where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel heard, valued, and empowered to heal and thrive.

As a cybersecurity professional, Enrique ensures Unbroken Horizons operates with state-of-the-art security and confidentiality, protecting the integrity of the platform while fostering trust among its members. His unique ability to blend technical knowledge with empathy ensures survivors feel supported in a secure environment.

Beyond the Role:

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Enrique enjoys transforming spaces through home renovations, gardening, and exploring smart home technology and security systems. In the kitchen, his passion for cooking shines as he crafts meals to share with loved ones. He also finds peace in nature, particularly at the beach, where the waves offer moments of reflection and inspiration.
